Welcome to the Gallery of Photographs. (under construction!)
“To me, photography is an art of observation… It’s about reacting to what you see, hopefully without preconception. You can find pictures anywhere. It’s simply a matter of noticing things… You just have to care about what’s around you and have a concern with humanity and the human comedy.” Elliott Erwitt
I love photographing. I find it exercise – in looking around, seeing. Once the image is caught on my phone or camera, it helps tell a story of that particular moment in time. It also becomes material for later, to be re-worked into a larger picture, for re-telling, recounting and that is part of the magic of making a Blog!
The flowers, the candelabra, the green coffee cup, her profile. Will we try Flamenco?
We were waiting at this bar to go into the Joe Bonamossa concert. Copper tables. Whiskey.
Summer 2016. Andrew and I walking around Floyd Fest. Discovered “Elephant Revival” Yeah, I got a “Be Hippy” sweatshirt I plan to wear under my tailored Parisian coat. The flight attendant over said he agreed with the sentiment. Republic of Floyd is a special place for us.
